The Homestead

There's more than just our inverts going on in the home. We are also just starting out on our journey as homeowners. With it will come lots of work and effort but when it's all said and done I hope we will be able to grow most of our own food and even earn some money off of the extra that we sell. My goal is to go with the most affordable and cost-effective means that I can with a long-term plan in mind. This means careful planning and consideration must be taken with each and every project. As well as some projects have to come before others in order to provide the best and healthiest lifestyle for all of our animals.

I hope to share both the ups and downs with people to help others learn creative and fun ways to bring gardening and homesteading to their own homes. Our house is in a small town and has a good amount of land for the yard that will be perfect for our own garden. The previous owners cultivated the land in such a way that it really has paved the way to some very excellent potential when it comes to homestead living.

So here I will link the various projects that we will be tackling over the course of time. What my end goals are for our home, and any other side projects that I may try and accomplish along the way. Along the way, I will also go into detail the challenges that can come with gardening in a world full of inverts, from beneficial ones to detrimental. Though there is no hate here for inverts that are more harmful then productive to a garden. I will always try and find the most natural ways to help prevent these problem inverts that I will come across.

I also plan to share the exploits and adventures of our two little felines and their story as to how they came into our lives right at the beginning of our new adventure in our forever home.
