The Rainforest Project

As we were in the process of buying this house I considered several various ideas on what all I wanted to do in terms of a beautiful decorative enclosure. I finally came to the conclusion that I want to try something that is a jungle or rainforest type deal.

While this is a project that will be years in the making I plan to write occasionally about what all research I have had to do in order to learn how to really achieve my goal. As well as design layouts and possible ideas to cover how to build the custom enclosure and how to make maintenance on it easy and as self-sustaining as possible.

I will also probably go into the basics of what goes into setting up bioactive enclosures, or little mini-ecosystems and why every detail has to be planned carefully so it is cost effective and efficient.
