Pseudhapalopus sp. "blue" is also known as the Colombian Bluerump or Colombian bottle blue. They are a burrow loving species found in Colombia and are known for their beautiful blue coloration as adults.
They can reach up to 5" in size though are known to be slow growers. They like to spend more of their time hidden in their burrows but unlike some of the other fossorial species, it's known to come out in the open more often.
Like most tarantulas as slings, they do not exhibit the striking coloration that most are known for and start off as a light tan color. It isn't until after several molts that they start to show any signs of the blue coloration they are sought after for.
