Holothele sp. "tachira" has become one of the more difficult species for me to find substantial information to its origins and habitat. While it's care is commonly known as a dwarf terrestrial species that doesn't usually exceed 3". That's about all that I can find.
Some information indicates that its classification may have changed instead to Holothele sanguiniceps or the Trinidad Pink Tarantula. Google searching under these conditions does provide more information on a dwarf tarantula species that resembles what H. sp "tachira" is supposed to look like as an adult. I have more research to do before I will know for sure what habitat information is correct for this species.
