Euathlus sp. "red" is also known as the Chilean Flame or Dwarf Flame Tarantula. It is found in the shrublands of Northern Chile, Bolivia, and Argentina from what I have been able to gather.
This dwarf species is one of the few NW species that are highly recommended for beginners. Though it's always suggested to go with an adult specimen then a sling as they are slow growers and only reach 3" to 3.5" in size maximum.
Having a curious and very relaxed nature it is known for coming out willingly and easy to handle. Another reason it is often suggested as a great beginner species. While it does have urticating hairs due to their natural temperament they are not known to flick them as often as most other NW species.
